Georgina Parsons RVN GradCertAVN
Hello! I’m Georgina and I’m a small animal RVN from West Yorkshire. I qualified from Askham Bryan College in 2017 and have been nursing since I was 16, so it’s all I know! I hold an Advanced Certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia which I gained in 2023 with the Royal Veterinary College. I formed The National Union of Registered Veterinary Nurses in August 2022 and am so proud of how it has grown in that time. I take great pride in the work we have done for our members and can’t wait to see what the future brings for us.

Hi, I’m Sam and I am a small animal RVN from Leeds. I have been in practice since 2008 and qualified in 2015 from Myerscough College. I am currently undertaking VNCert in Surgical Nursing. I joined the NURVN in October 2022. I have really enjoyed the case work and representation side of the Union and take satisfaction from being a support to our members during difficult times. I am excited to see what the future holds for The NURVN and how we can protect the profession that I love.

Hi! I am Charlette. I qualified back in 2019 and currently work in independent practice in West Yorkshire. I am very passionate about anaesthesia and love to inspire the next generation of RVN’s and do so by hosting lectures when I can and clinical coaching in practice. My adorable pup, Nala, is my pride and joy, always keeping a smile on my face!
Hello, I’m Shona and I’m a SVN from London. I am studying to become an RVN with Goddard Veterinary Nursing College. I have been working in Veterinary Practice since 2018 and started my apprenticeship to be a RVN in 2023. I currently work in a small animal 24 hour hospital in Kent. Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember and I am so excited to see where my career leads.
Hi I am Rebekah. I have been working in practice since October 2020 when I started in a small general practice. I then moved to a larger 24hr first opinion hospital. I moved to Scotland last summer and I am now working at a 24hr referral and first opinion hospital. I qualified in October 2024. I enjoy consultations and feline nursing. Outside of work I live with my two cats Gabby and Gracie as well as my Labrador Belle.
Hello, I am Leonie. I qualified in 2014 from Nottingham Trent University. I worked in an exotic, small animal and farm first opinion practice in the South West of England before moving to a referral practice in 2016. I then worked in a busy referral hospital before moving to nights in 2021. I completed my VNCert ECC in March 2021 and have a keen interest in inpatient care and a special love for the ECC cases. Outside of work I am very active and participate in many sports including football and rowing. I also enjoy surfing, being outdoors and growing things in my allotment. I am kept busy by a crazy show Cocker called Otter and my 17yr old DLH Rosie.
