The National Union of Registered Veterinary Nurses was formed in August 2022. Since then we have supported numerous members through grievance procedures, disciplinary action and general advice. We are made up of a board of three Registered Veterinary Nurses, all active in practice. We have combined experience of nearly 40 years in varying backgrounds.
Our mission is to change the Veterinary industry so that the VN title is protected and respected. Where true progression and longevity in the profession is available, this is currently not the case but we believe that together we can change this.
By building a united community, encompassing all Veterinary Nurses, with a shared goal of empowering each other we can work together to build a better profession.
We also strive to provide every VN in the UK access to representation in the workplace.
